About Us - Board of Directors Elliot S. Kaplan
Mr. Kaplan serves as Chairman of the Board of the Company and the Bank. Mr. Kaplan is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Minnesota Law School. A senior partner in the law firm Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi, Mr. Kaplan has practiced law for over forty years. Mr. Kaplan also serves as a Director of Best Buy Co., Inc. and InfoUSA, Inc. He serves as a Chairman of the University of Minnesota Foundation and trustee of the Minnesota Historical Society. Mr. Kaplan is also involved in numerous other charitable and civic organizations.
Eugene "Gene" Frey
Mr. Frey has served as a Director since 2000. Mr. Frey retired as Chairman of Waldorf Corp. (a recycled paper board and purchasing company). Mr. Frey is a graduate of the University of Minnesota (B.A.) and serves as a Trustee of the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul MN). Locally, Mr. Frey is active in Habitat for Humanity and the Philharmonic Center for the Arts.
Khosrow Moaveni
Mr. Moaveni became a Director of the Company in 2008. He is founder and owner of Florida Management and Development Corporation (FMDC), established in Naples in 1981. FMDC is an umbrella organization for a number of entities involved in development and management of real estate. It operates in the tri-county area of Collier, Lee and Charlotte. Mr. Moaveni received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from University of California at Berkeley in 1963 and 1964 respectively. He has been engaged in planning, design, construction and development work over the past 45 years. He is involved in a number of local and national charitable organizations.Kenneth Murray
Mr. Murray has served as a Director since 2000. After a 38-year career in banking, the last 18 of which Mr. Murray spent with Norwest Corporation and Wells Fargo Corporation, he retired as Executive Vice President. Mr. Murray focused much of his career on Norwest Corporation’s community banking franchise. Mr. Murray has been a resident of Naples since 1996. Mr. Murray is Chairman of Collier Health Services Foundation and Vice Chairman of the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Advisory Board.
William S. Reiling
Mr. Reiling has served as a Director since 2000. Mr. Reiling serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of St. Anthony Park Bank, Franklin National Bank of Minneapolis, University National Bank of Saint Paul and University Financial Corporation. Mr. Reiling is the former owner and CEO of Towle Real Estate Company. Mr. Reiling serves as Trustee at University of St. Thomas.
James D. Vogel
Mr. Vogel has served as a Director since 2005. Mr. Vogel is President and managing partner of the Naples law firm of Vogel Law Office, P.A. Mr. Vogel worked at Midwest Title Guarantee Company of Florida, located in Naples and Bonita Springs, Florida, for 20 years, the last 10 years as President and CEO. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Mr. Vogel moved to Naples, Florida in 1973. He obtained his law degree from the University of Florida College of Law with High Honors. Mr. Vogel has been actively involved as a director and officer for many years with Naples Equestrian Challenge, a non-profit organization serving disabled children.
